E'sau ( ῾Ησαύ, Vulg. Sel), given (1 Esd. 5:29) as the name of the head of one of the families of "Temple servants" or Nethinim that returned from the captivity; in place of the ZIHA SEE ZIHA (q.v.) of the Hebrew text (Ezr 2:43).
