Englert, Johann Wilhelm
Englert, Johann Wilhelm was born at Schweinfurt, December 10, 1706, where he was also appointed pastor of St. Saviour in 1732. In 1737 he was made subdeacon of St. John's, in 1751 deacon and professor of theology, in 1754 archdeacon, and in 1764 pastor primarius and inspector of the gymnasium. He, died in 1768, leaving, among other treatises, Disp. de Indulgentiae Judaeorum Paschalis Tempore Modoque (Giessen, 1731). See Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten-Lexikon, s.v. (B.P.)
