E'nan (Hebrews Eynan', עֵינָן, born at a fountain, q.d. fontanus; Sept. Αἰνάν), the father of Ahira, which latter was phylarch of the tribe of Naphtali at the Exode (Nu 1:15; Nu 2:29; Nu 7:78,83; Nu 10:27). B.C. ante 1657. SEE HAZAR-ENAN.
