Edelmann, Hirsh

Edelmann, Hirsh a Jewish scholar of Germany,who died at Berlin, November 21, 1858, is the author of ההגדה סדר, or the Narrative for the Jewish Passover, with critical notes and scholia (Kbnigsberg,. 1845). He also published the Jewish Prayer-book, with glosses and scholia (ibid.); and edited The Song of Solomon, with Obadja Seforno's commentary (Dantzic, 1845). See Furst, Bibl. Jud. 1:222. (B.P.)
