Ebrbuharites
Ebrbuharites an order of monks among the Mohammriedans, who derived their name from their founder, Ebrbuhar, the scholar of Nacshbendi, who came from Persia to Europe in the 14th century to propagate their faith. They professed to surrender all care about worldly concerns, and to give themselves wholly up to the contemplation of eternal objects. They were esteemed heretics by the Mohammedans generally, because they refused to go on pilgrimage to Mecca, alleging that the journey was unnecessary, as they were permitted in secret vision, while sitting in their cells, to behold the holy city.
