Dudley, William
Dudley, William an English prelate of the 15th century, son of John Dudley, the eighth baron of Dudley, Staffordshire, was educated at University College, Oxford, thence preferred dean of Windsor, and afterwards for six years bishop of Durham. He died in London in 1483, and was buried in Westminster. See Fuller, Worthies of England (ed. Nuttall), 3:131.
