Dross
Dross (סַיג, sig, once [Eze 22:18, text] סוּג, suq. what goes off in refining), the scorice or impurities of silver separated from the ore, or rusted or adulterated forms, by the process of melting (Pr 25:4; Pr 26:23; Psalm cxix. 119); also the base metal, or mixture itself prior to smelting (Isa 1:22,25; Eze 22:18-19).
