Drevet, Pierre
Drevet, Pierre an eminent French engraver, was born at Lyons in 1663, and after having studied under Germain Audran in his native city, went to Paris to complete his preparation. The following are his best prints: Abrahan's Sacrifice; The Annunciation; The Adoration of the Shepherds; The Crucifixion. He died at Paris in 1738. See Spooner, Biog. Hist. of the Fine Arts, s.v;
