Dishan

Di'shan (Hebrews Dishan',) דַּישָׁן another form for the name Dishon; Sept. ῾Ρισών, but in 1Ch 1:42 Δαισών v.r. Δισάν), the name of the youngest son of Seir- the Horite, father of Uz and Aran, and head of one of the original tribes of Idumaea (Ge 36:21,28,30; 1Ch 1:38,42). B.C. cir. 1963. SEE DISHON.
