Dirnberger, Franz

Dirnberger, Franz a Roman Catholic theologian of Germany, was born at Bamberg in 1809. From 1834 to 1845 he was professor at Regensburg; from 1845 to 1854 director of the Georgianum and professor of pastoral theology at Munich; and thereafter at Eichstadt, until his death, February 25, 1875. (B.P.)
