Delisle, Joseph
Delisle, Joseph a French theologian, was born at Brainville, in Bassigny, about 1690. He served for some time in the French army, joined the Benedictines at St. Vanne in 1711, taught at the abbey of Moyenmoutier, then at St. Maurice, in Valais; was appointed abbot of St. Leopold at Nancy, and died at St. Mihiel, January 24, 1766, leaving, Vie de M.
