De Blois, Stephen W. D.D.

a Baptist minister, was born in 1827 at Halifax, N.S. He graduated from Acadia College in June 1846; studied theology at Newton; was ordained February 26, 1854, in Chester; and in 1855 became pastor of the First Church in Horton, where he remained twenty-seven years.
