Day, J.C.

a Lutheran minister, was born at Germantown, Pennsylvania, October 10, 1808. He was a student at Gettysburg in 1834; was licensed to preach in 1836; first labored at Friesburg, N.J.; then for ten years was pastor at Saddle River and Ramapo; six years in Churchtown, N.Y.; and for nineteen years in New Germantown, N.J.; removed, without charge, to Mount Vale, and died there, March 25, 1882.
