Dawson, Samuel

Dawson, Samuel a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South was born in Rockingham County, Virginia; November 10, 1798. He joined the Church about 1814, and entered the Mississippi Conference in 1841, wherein he labored as health permitted until his death, in 1858. See Minutes of Annual Conferences of the M.E.
