Davis, J.W.

a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born at Tyringham, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, April 30, 1791. He was converted in 1809; removed to Ohio in 1816, and in 1825 entered the Pittsburgh Conference; in 1828 was transferred to the Erie Conference, and, after two years, located at the close of four years again entered the effective ranks; became superannuated in 1845, and died in January 1854.
