Davies, Philip

Davies, Philip an English Baptist minister, was born at Whitchurch, Hampshire, October 21, 1773. After his conversion he joined the Independent Church at Reading, and in 1802 the Baptist Church there; soon after became pastor in Oakingham; in 1808 removed to his native town, where he labored until his death, September 7, 1840.
