Davies, Howell

Davies, Howell a Welsh Baptist minister, was born at Trelech in 1818, and brought up an Independent. In 1844 he was immersed and began to preach. In 1850 he removed to Maestig, Glamorganshire; and, while keeping a school, and serving as pastor over the Baptist Church there, he died, April 25, 1866. See (Lond.) Baptist Handbook, 1866.
