Davidson, Asbury

Davidson, Asbury a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church South, was born in Tennessee in 1810. He was admitted into the Tennessee Conference in 1831; served as presiding elder in the Memphis Conference during 1842 and 1844; was transferred to the Mississippi Conference in 1845; located and removed to Texas in 1851; joined the Texas Conference in 1855, and died December 21, 1868.
