David, Nicolas Joseph

David, Nicolas Joseph a French theologian, was born near Bayeux. He was professor in the college of Monitaigu and canon of St. Marcel, and died at Paris, Aug. 5, 1784, leaving Refutation du Systeme d'un Philosophe Carteisien (Paris, 1729). See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
