David, Jean (1)

a Belgian theologian, was born at Courtrai in 1546. He was pastor of St. Martins, at Courtrai; joined the Jesuits in 1581; was successively rector of the colleges of Courtrai, Brussels, and Ghent, and died at Antwerp, August 9, 1613.
