Davenport, John (2)

Davenport, John a Presbyterian minister, was ordained by the Presbytery of Suffolk, June 4, 1775, and served the congregation in Southold, L.I., for two years. On August 12, 1795, he was settled at Deerfield, N.J., but resigned in 1805. He died July 13, 1821. See Alexander, Princeton College in the 18th Century.
