Daubentonne (or Dabentonne), Jeanne (called also Pieroime Daubenton), a French female fanatic, born in Paris, was burned there, July 5, 1372, for setting herself up as a prophetess at the head of the Turlupins or "Brothers of the Company of Poverty." See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
