Darby, John Nelson

Darby, John Nelson who was born in London, November 18, 1800, and died at Bournemouth, April 28, 1882, is noted as the head of the Darbyites or Plymouth Brethren (q.v.). He is also known on the Continent by his writings, which have been translated into German, and for which see Zuchold, Bibl. Theol. 1:261 sq. (B.P.)
