Dandolo, Faustino

Dandolo, Faustino a Venetian theologian, was born about 1379. He was successively apostolic prothenotary, legate a latere, and governor of Bologna; and died in 1449, leaving Compendium pro Catholicae Fidei Instructione. There has also been attributed to him Tractfatus de Beneficiis; Responsa Quaedam Juridica. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Geineazle, s.v.
