Dana, Joseph, D.D.
a Congregational minister, was born at Pomfret, Connecticut, November 2, 1742. He graduated at Yale College in 1760; was ordained over the South Church in Ipswich, Massachusetts, in 1765, and continued pastor there until his death, November 16, 1827.
