Dakin, Ann

Dakin, Ann wife of John Dakin, was a minister of the Society of Friends, and died in Charlotte, Vermont, March 28, 1861, aged fifty-nine years. She became a member when about twenty-two years of age, and for many years was an acceptable minister. In 1850, however, she withdrew from the society, but towards the close of her life reunited with the Friends. See Amer. Annual Monitor, 1862, page 42.
