Dagamus

Dagamus was an Irish bishop and confessor, who flourished at the close of the 6th and the beginning of the 7th century. He was a strict maintainer of traditional rites, giving way with great difficulty to the reasoning of Augustine, and refused to eat even in the same house with the Roman bishops. His commemoration is variously given as March 22 and May 29.
