Cyprianus, Johannes
Cyprianus, Johannes a Lutheran theologian, was born at Rawicz, in Poland, October 24, 1642. He studied at Jena and Leipsic, was in 1678 licentiate, in 1699 doctor, and in 1710 professor of theology at Leipsic. In 1715 he was appointed canon of Zeitz and Meissen, and finally senior of the university.
