Curtis, John

Curtis, John a Wesleyan missionary, after spending three years in the theological institution at Richmond, England, was in 1868 appointed to Honduras, Central America, where he labored in various circuits. He returned to England in impaired health, and was ordained at the Conference of 1872. He was next appointed to Turk's Island, Bahama district, but was seized with pulmonary disease, and died at sea, on his homeward voyage, August 6, 1874.
