Cuper, Willem

Cuper, Willem a Flemish historian of the Jesuit order, was born at Antwerp in 1686, and died February 2, 1741, leaving De Patriarchis Constantinopolitanis (Antwerp, 1733). Cuper aided in collecting the Acta Sanctorum of the Bollandists, July and August. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.
