Cummings, Stedman
Cummings, Stedman a Free-will Baptist minister, was born at Washington, Vermont, November 10, 1806. He was converted when fourteen years of age, ordained in 1825, and labored as an evangelist in Vermont and Canada. In 1854 he went West, and about 1870 removed to Kansas, where he preached occasionally. He died at Kirwin, Kansas, October 19, 1883. See Morning Star, May 14, 1884. (J.C.S.)
