Creech, William
Creech, William a Scotch clergyman, studied at Edinburgh University; became tutor to George Cranstoun; was licensed to preach in 1733; called to the living at Newbattle in 1738; ordained in 1739, and died August 21, 1745, aged forty years. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticanae, 1:296, 297.
