Cramer, Andreas
Cramer, Andreas a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1582 at Heimersleben, near Magdeiburg. He studied at Helmstadt, was in 1607 rector at Quedlinburg, and in 1615 pastor of St. John's at Magdeburg. During the thirty years' war he had to leave that place, and was appointed in 1631 superintendent at Miihlhaisen, where he died in 1640. His writings, which are of a controversial character, are given in Jocher, Allgemeines Gelehrten- Lexikon, s.v. (B.P.)
