Cox, Margaret a minister of the Society of Friends, was born in 1814. She labored "with much earnestness and love, yet with becoming modesty. In many instances she was enabled to make full proof of her ministry." She died near Lawrence, Kansas, November 12, 1878. See Friends' Review, 32:197. (J.C.S.)
