Cossa, Francesco

Cossa, Francesco an Italian painter, was a native of Ferrara. He executed some works at Bologna, which are, Madonnas, with Saints and Angaqels. One of them, in the institute, is dated 1474. See Hoefer, Nouv. Biog. Generale, s.v.; Spooner, Biog. Hist. of the Fine Arts, s.v.
