Corwin, Richard a Methodist Episcopal minister, was born in Mason County, Kentucky, August 29, 1789. He was piously trained, joined-the Church in 1809, entered the ministry in 1817, travelled in Kentucky, was presiding elder for ten years, agent for American Colonization Society in 1834, and died while elder of Louisville District, in 1843. He was consistent, grave, intelligent, and spiritual. See Minutes of Annual Conferences, 1843-44, page 454.
