Cornwall, William

Cornwall, William an Irish Wesleyan minister, was converted at an early age, under the ministry of Gideon Ouseley. Being a good Celtic scholar, he was appointed a missionary to the Irish, chiefly in his own province of Connaught. After undergoing numerous privations and hardships, which induced premature decline, he became a supernumerary in 1848, and died May 11, 1860. See Minutes of the British Conference, 1860.
