Cordemoy, Louis Geraud De
Cordemoy, Louis Geraud de a French theologian, son of the foregoing, was born at Paris, December 7, 1651. He took holy orders, was made doctor of theology, and applied himself to the conversion of the Protestants. After having aided the missions of Saintonge, he was appointed, in 1679, abbot of Fenieres, of the order of Cistercians, in the diocese of Clermont, in Auvergne.
