Cooper, Abraham
Cooper, Abraham an English Wesleyan missionary, was sent to the island of Tobago, W.I., in August 1835. After two years and three months labor, he returned to England, a victim of consumption, and died at the house of his brother-in- law, in Oldland Common, near Bristol, June 8, 1838, aged twenty-nine years. "His valuable life was too short." See Minutes of the British Conference, 1838.
