Conte, Jacopino Del

Conte, Jacopino del a Florentine painter, was born in 1510, and studied under Andrea del Sarto. His principal pictures in Rome are, St. John Preaching and The Descent from the Cross, in San Giovanni Decollato; The Dead Christ and St. Francis Receiving the Stigmata, at the Cappuccini a Monte Cavallo.
