Conditorium

Conditorium a burial-place among the ancient Greeks and Romans, in which dead bodies were deposited entire, as distinguished from those sepulchre which contained only the bones and ashes. The word conditorium is also used to denote the coffin in which a dead body was placed when consigned to the tomb.
