Comitolo, Neapolio
Comitolo, Neapolio an Italian prelate, was born at Perugia in 1544, of the family of the counts of Colle-Mezzo. He at first followed the profession of law, but afterwards obtained an abbey, and became auditor of the Rota; was appointed bishop of Perugia in 1591, founded a college and several religious societies, and died there, August 24, 1624, leaving, in Latin, a History of the Bishops of Perugia, a collection of the decisions of the tribunal of the Rota, and some liturgical works.
