Clunie, John (1), a Scotch clergyman, was licensed to preach in 1731; presented by the king to the living at Whitekirk in 1732; admitted to the united parish in 1761, and died June 17, 1784, aged seventy-five years. See Fassti Eccles. Scoticanae, i, 386.
