Clow, James
Clow, James, a Scotch clergyman, a native of Ardoch, was licensed to preach in 1813; appointed chaplain to the East India Company at Bombay in 1815, and ordained; resigned in 1833; returned to Scotland; emigrated to Melbourne; was first moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria, Australia, after the Union in 1859, and died soon afterwards.
