Cleric, George, a Scotch clergyman, native of Buchan, studied at King's College, Aberdeen, in 1661; obtained license to preach in 1668; was admitted to the living at Logie-Durno (now Chapel-Garioch) prior to 1685, and was deposed in 1702 for negligence. See Fasti Eccles. Scoticance, 3:575.
