Clay, Johnnan
Clay, Johnnan English Baptist minister, was born at Aberdeen, Scotland, Sept. 4, 1790, and, while a child, removed with his parents to England. He united with the Church at Portsea, March 22,-1797. In 1821 he became associate pastor at Festin, and in 1829 pastor of a church at Landport, where he remained several years. He died Jan. 25, 1841. See Report of English Baptist Union, 1841, p. 36. (J.
