Clarisse, Johannes

Clarisse, Johannes, a Dutch theologian, was born at Schiedam in 1770. In 1803 he was professor of theology at Harderwick; in 1811, preacher at Amsterdam; in 1815, doctor and: professor of theology at Levden, where he died in 1843. He is the author of Enicyclopcedice Theologicce Epiitome (Leyden, 1832, 1835):Diss.
