Christian is a surname common to many Jewish converts, of whom we mention:

1. CHRISTOPHER GUSTAV, of Niuremberg, who was baptized in 1719, is the author of, יסֹד אמֵוּנִת יֵשׁוּעִ i.e., The Elements of the Christian Religion (Berlin, 1712, 1719): — Die Bekehrung Israels (Schwabach, 1722).
