Cheyan, John De, a Scotch prelate, was an Englishman by birth, and archdeacon of Bath. He was consecrated, by pope Alexander IV, bishop of the see of Glasgow, in 1260, and died in France in 1268. See Keith, Scottish Bishops, p. 240.
