Checkley, Samuel (2)

Checkley, Samuel (2), a Congregational minister, son of the foregoing, was born at Boston, Mass., and graduated from Harvard College in 1743. He was stetted over the Old or North Church, Boston, as colleague with the Rev. Joseph Gee, Sept. 3, 1747; and died March 19, 1768. See Sprague, Annals of the Amer. Pulpit, i, 313.
